Series "Fitness" lockers:
Anti-tampering Security
The Security device is an optional accessory that is essential for optimising the use of lockers in changing rooms (PATENT MI 2010 U000338).
In fact, traditional lockers fitted with standard locks or padlocks and even those provided with anti-tampering devices, like the standard ones in our production range, can be forced open, although with considerable difficulty.
On the contrary, the new Security device, the operating method of which is illustrated in the sequence at the bottom, does not allow the door to be forced open in any way.
In fact “Security” has not only eliminated the presence of any accessible slits, but it also features a profile that runs along the whole height of the door, locking it in place. In other words, the “locking” effect, has spread from a single central point, as is usual, to the whole door, locking it from the bottom to the top.
The anti-tampering effect is guaranteed and dissuades any attempt to force open the door: all this at a very limited cost.
What other advantages are there?
No damage to the lockers, greater safety for the users, no insurance costs.
But that is not all! The appearance of the locker is also improved as the photograph below shows.
  Technical description
The SECURITY device is based on the insertion of a second profile that turns inside the load-bearing profile of the locker.
When the door is pushed to close the locker, it collides with the profile referred to above. When the door closes, the rotation of the additional profile is completed and the lock snaps shut, blocking the whole door in the “closed” position.
