| General description
The seats in the EXPO/M range have been designed so that their overall size is limited in order to optimise the movement of spectators. In particular, the side of the seat measures just 16.5 cm. and, as the seat folds up to the backrest, the transverse measurement is reduced to 15.5 cm. The above-mentioned features enable maximum use to be made of the space available which is normally very limited on grandstands. The seat folds up to a vertical position thanks to two stainless steel springs located in a special housing and it rotates as the result of two supporting elements made of nylon and secured by means of nickel-plated screws to the load bearing structure. The seat and backrest are fitted to metal supports by means of four stainless steel rivets. Apart from the safety of use, from the point of view of appearance, this solution represents the “Top” of the different models of this type of seating. Technical description Load-bearing frame made of bent and electro-welded steel bars, 22 mm. in diameter. Sheet metal sides 4 mm. thick. Seat support frame made of bent and electro-welded steel bars 22 mm. in diameter, it turns on special supports moulded in nylon. The rotation to the vertical position is guaranteed by two stainless steel springs. Frame treatment: hot or cold galvanizing or coating with epoxy resins. Seat and backrest injection moulded in certified class 1 self-extinguishing polypropylene with a polished finish. Numbering. The seat numbers can be fixed to the backrest in three different ways: snap-on method, using suitable glue or with a pair of aluminium rivets. The seat is secured to the step riser by means of four screw anchors and four galvanized steel screws of a suitable size. |
