HPL
(High Pressure Laminate)

The laminate is made up of a series of Kraft paper layers impregnated with a special phenolic resin. External decorative paper sheets are impregnated in melaminic resin following a specific program of decoration and sizes.
The basic parts are then impregnated in thermosetting resins, appropriately treated, that give the product its fundamental physical-mechanical features.
It subsequently undergoes a combined action of pressure (9 MPa) under heat (150°C), in hydraulic presses that provokes an irreversible chemical-physical transformation caused by the polycondensation of the resins used.
